The National Championship was actually a great game that once again proved why we do this thing called the Rocky Bowl. You may not have cared much for Alabama or Clemson from a college or region pride perspective, but I know for a fact that 90% of Rocky Bowlers had high confidence points on one of these 2 teams. Thus the Rocky Bowl suspense was real and added so much fun and anticipation all the way to the games end.
If you didn't gather with fellow Rocky Bowlers to finish off one of the most memorable Rocky Bowl finishes in recent times, then shame on you.
Rocky, Herbie Husker (2nd Place) and G-Chick (5th place with the chance to win it all if Clemson had come through for him) gather in front a fire pit with cigars and favorite spirit in hand to enjoy this one.
Here is a look at the final standings and payout. The money portion is still under final review until the Finance Commissioner is sober in the morning to give his final blessing.
